Admittedly I only have a secondhand KD-43X8305C bought simply to go on the bedroom wall. It is connected to a Sky Q Mini box to watch the breakfast news in bed. It performs and works perfectly but has rebooted itself once or twice over the last year. The last update was in March so we must be due an update soon.

Sick and tired of this TV. Unresponsive, slow, poor content, no meanwhile support for Google Home, poor apps that don't seem to work. Netflix just spins around when launching. Got to keep killing the app in settings. Prime video just doesn't play. Built in Cast doesn't allow you to turn on with Home, l need to plug a separate cast in to do that, what's the point? 3 years I've stuck by it and maybe had 2 updates which offered nothing. I have to reset it every week. Never stays connected to my tethered router. Don't even get me started on youview. Won't be touching Sony Tv's ever again. Used to be a mark of quality and now, shame really.

Usin one of these Sony Android sets as the monitor output device for a Sky box is a match made in Heaven, due to Sony’s unrivalled picture quality, and adequate or better sound.

Trying to use one as the Smart TV it is supposed to be seems to be a match made in the Other Place....
